このプレゼンで重要なのは、はっきりした発音やアクセント。大きな声でゆっくり発表すること。原稿を胸の高さまであげて前を見ながら発表。
事前に強調すべき場所やブレスをいれる場所をチェックしておくといいそうだ。そして鏡の前で最低２０回以上声を出して練習。では諸君、検討を祈る。

>Japanese work very hard even if they spend a holiday. They try to make their holiday special. As a result, they spend a lot of money for a hectic holiday without true rest. In other many other countries, people spend their holidays more at leisure. In addition, for Japanese people, it is hard to take a paid holiday. Short, busy, and expensive holidays tire Japanese people. At this presentation, let's learn from four foreign countries how to spend their holidays.

>日本人は休日でも勤勉だ。彼らは模範的な休日を過ごそうと努力する。その結果、忙しい休日に多くのお金をかけて、結局休めないということが多い。日本以外の多くの外国の国では、休暇をもっとのんびりと過ごす。また、日本人は有給をあまりとらない。少ない休日を忙しく過ごすので、彼らは疲れきってしまうのだ。この発表ではもっとリラックスできる休暇の過ごし方を、世界の人々に学ぶ。

>Germans spend a relaxing holiday. Germans do not spend holidays busily like Japanese and they remain in one place basically and spend the holiday. In addition, during the summer, many German office workers take a paid vacation for nearly one month. Since Japanese think that their company can not make money if they do such a thing, they take the paid vacation only for around 1 week maximum. Germans think that even if the office is closed they can still make money. On the other hand, Japanese use only half of their paid holidays in spite of that are considerably fewer than Germans. Whereas Germans completely use up their paid vacation, Japanese do not use the precious holiday. Japanese should to follow the German holiday costom.

>However, there are some countries where people take vacation successfully even if their working hours are long. UK is one of these countries. In this country, people work nearly 2,000 hours in a year. And it is almost the same as Japanese or American working hours. In addition, UK's national holidays are very few. It is exactly the same as Germany's and it is only 8days in a year. And it is about half compared with the number of Japanese national holidays. There are two reasons why British can take vacation successfully. First, British actively take paid holidays for more than three weeks and it is about three times as long as in Japan. Second, they spend holidays leisurely. Like the Germans, they don't go many places but spend their holiday in one particular place. In short, British are a good model of taking vacation.

Conversely, in Japan there are many people thinking that business will suffer if they do not work. So the Americans use their holidays they can enjoy spending it with their family. It happens quite often the Japanese go to work at the company even on a holiday. Japanese work for a family, and as a result, it greatly shortens the time for spending with their family. Japanese should spend a holiday with a family like the Americans.

>アメリカ人は労働時間が長く、有給もあまり取らないところが日本人とよく似ている。しかし、アメリカ人と日本人は仕事に対して全く逆の考えを持っている。アメリカ人は家庭があっての仕事と考えている人が多い。反対に、日本人は仕事がないと家庭が成り立たないと考えている人が多い。なので、アメリカ人が休暇を家族と楽しく過ごすために使い、日本人は休日でも会社に行って仕事をするということがよくある。日本人は家族のために仕事をして、結果的に家族とすごく時間が短くなってしまう。日本人はアメリカ人を見習って、休暇をもっと家族と過ごすべきである。

Cote d’Azur which lies in the south of France is full of people having fun on their vacations in summer. French costs are so inexpensive. An average traveling cost is about one-fifth of the Japanese. Then, they can take paid vacation for 5 weeks. In fact, they are required to take vacation for 2 weeks at least. In contrast with Japanese, they put an important enphasis on spending vacation lazily for a long time in one place. They enjoy lying on the beach during summer and forget about their work. In this way, they are freed from daily stress. Concerning vacations, France is one of the best countries to imitate for Japanese who take time to work even by an off day.
